Matt specializes in advising portfolio companies on strategy, implementation of management teams, business development, problem solving and acquisitions. He is also responsible for investment originations and investor relations at Red River. Matt has executed a multitude of successful transactions within various industries throughout his career.
Prior to Red River Equity, Matt was an investment professional with Transition Capital Partners, where he led investment originations, investment evaluation and portfolio company support. Prior to Transition Capital Partners, Matt was an investment banker with Waterview Investment Bank, where he was responsible for the transaction process from the initial pitch to close. Throughout Matt’s career he also had the privilege to work with Neuberger Berman Private Equity Partners and Wells Fargo Bank in various roles.
Matt earned a BBA in finance from the University of North Texas and an MBA with an emphasis in finance and strategy from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business.
